Welcome to the Homewood City School system's website. Homewood is just outside the city limits of Birmingham, Alabama, and is well known for its tradition of educational excellence for all students.

The school system works to "educate and empower all students to maximize their unique potential," and endeavors to provide optimal learning environments that support customized instruction.

With three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school and a K-12 enrollment of approximately 4,200, we offer a system enriched by diversity, tradition, community spirit, and vision. We take pride in the accomplishments of our school system and believe education and student learning are the most important responsibilities of our schools and community.
