What is KinderQuest?
Homewood City Schools invites incoming Kindergarteners to join us for KINDERQUEST!
We are excited to welcome 2026-2027 HCS Kindergarteners to experience a half day of Kindergarten this summer! Students will take a tour of their zoned school, rotate through learning stations, and play on the playground!
We will host two days of KinderQuest and four different sessions*:
- July 9th: 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- July 9th: 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
- July 14th: 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- July 14th: 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Once enrollment and residency are approved, KinderQuest registration links will be sent via email every Thursday at 2:00 PM starting May 28. Slots are first-come, first-served, so we encourage you to complete enrollment in May if you have a session preference.
*Shades Cahaba will only offer morning sessions of KinderQuest
